			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>I started Marcie&#8217;s class in Aug 2010 with my daughter who had recently graduated college. In just under a year I have lost 30lbs, gained strength, balance and toned! Just short of a miracle..I frequently get comments your arms are so toned are you weight training&#8230;No just Yoga! I started off with the Ashtanga Series which I thought was awesome. Just when it couldn&#8217;t get any better Marcie is now doing Weight Loss Yoga. This is a great workout..I also have battled with Stomach Cramping for 14 years..Yoga has made this virtually non-existent. (There are different yoga poses that help with aliments)</div>
<div>There are all ages, sizes and abilities in her classes, they range from 22-70+. Marcie has a number of times and locations to choose from. Marcie will explain the correct way to do a pose and point out the injuries you may incur if it is done incorrectly. Once you try Marcie&#8217;s class there is no need to look for another yoga instructor&#8230;You will be hooked!(P.S. I had done yoga for 5 years prior to Marcie, never did I have these results and feel so good!)       <br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Take a deep breath and as you let it out imagine all the difficulties of the day going with it, now take the attention to the feet&#8212;“ (work up the body relaxing—especially the back shoulders and neck)</p>
<p>Now focus on the breath&#8212;going in and out—gently and naturally—imagine a swinging door which moves slowly with the breath in and out—“ (continue for some moments)</p>
<p>Imagine that just above you there is a beautiful globe of light, and the white healing energy is slowly dripping down through your crown Chakra, (through the top of your head), slowly drop by drop it works its way down and into your heart center&#8212;</p>
<p>-see your heart as a tightly closed rose, and as the healing white energy drips onto it, it begins to gently open to receive it&#8212; the drip becomes a trickle&#8212; and then a flow, see the rose open its petals until it is fully open, a most beautiful rose! Full of white light energy, until the healing energy begins to drip from the rose itself as it fills and gently flows to the rest of the body&#8212;see it flow to the arms&#8212;and fingers&#8212;-legs and toes&#8212;feel the wonderful flow of energy! &#8212;- (Allow time here)</p>
<p>Continue until your whole body feels full of the energy and totally invigorated! Bathe in the peace—comfort—and safety of this gentle glow&#8212;-now begin to slowly allow the rose to gently close, and as it does so the flow once more becomes a trickle&#8212;-and as the rose is almost closed a tiny drop! But keep the rose a tiny bit open, so that there is always a constant drip of energy.</p>
<p>Allow yourself to slowly bring your attention back to the space that you are in&#8230;..open your eyes and smile!</p>

<p>I have enjoyed my experience with Marcie and Yoga for Health for several months now and find the benefits of attending class 3 times per week very helpful with improving my flexibility.  I have found that when I took it years ago after having 3 daughters, I did not loose what I had already been taught.</p>
<p>Marcie makes her classes enjoyable and easy to follow. New comers can jump in at any time.  Marcie corrects each student&#8217;s posture when needed in a gentle fashion. Thank you Marcie for making Yoga a fun experience!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I started Yoga with Marcie in the fall of 2008.  She offers many different styles of yoga.  I wanted to try them all to see which one would work the best for me.  I found that all the styles offer something a little bit different.  The classes are geared to different skill levels and allow you to challenge yourself.  I have not yet decided which class I will settle on, but I have a feeling that I will use all three of them as I feel the need.</p>
<p>Since I have started practicing yoga, I have found that I can do things now that I was unable to do in the fall.  In the past, I experienced frequent lower back pain.  In practicing yoga, I have pretty much eliminated it.  I also feel stronger and sleep better.  I look forward to going to yoga each week because it rejuvenates me.</p>

Just in that one phone call I was impressed with her and knew she was the type of instructor that goes the extra mile, which I learned to be true.</p>
<p>I meet with Marcie once a week and plan to take Yoga throughout my entire pregnancy because I think it’s important to stay flexible and really feel it will help with labor. I look forward to my class every week and have learned so much. I was comfortable with Marcie immediately. She knows exactly what poses are safe for me, encourages me to do the best that I can do and motivates me to practice Yoga on my own so that I can become more flexible. She also tells me what the benefits to my body are for each pose, which I find interesting.</p>
<p>In addition, I admire Marcie for her knowledge and her passion for Yoga is contagious. I look forward to continuing Yoga with Marcie after my baby is born and would highly recommend her to any new student.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had been doing Yoga at home with a video but wanted to progress further so I joined Marcie&#8217;s Power Yoga class.  I have been amazed at the results!  I leave every class feeling uplifted and energized.  In just six weeks I am doing things I never thought possible:  head stands, the  wheel ( a backward bend) and balancing on one foot with the other leg straight out!</p>
<p>Not only is the Yoga so enjoyable but it enhances the rest of my life! The flexibility and balance are wonderful for injury prevention in my other activities.  Cycling and jogging also don&#8217;t build upper body strength as Yoga does.  The postures have even helped with a &#8220;flexible&#8221; outlook that comes with Yoga, and the relaxation is a wonderful antidote to job stress.</p>
<p>Surprisingly, certain postures are very helpful with my sinus problems and even my flat feet!  Even without all these benefits, I would still go for the pure enjoyment.  I look forward to my weekly class and wish I had the time to attend daily.  I do practice outside of class every chance I get!</p>
